A day I will always remember

Hello everyone, today I’m going to tell you about a day I will always remember, because was the first time I flew by plane. It was this year, on March 21th, and me and my girlfriend took short vacations in a Hotel in La Serena by two days.

That day, I woke up early and we get together in Los Heroes Subway Station to take a bus to the airport. It was my first experience flying by plane. Was a short flight, but to me was exciting because in a moment we flew between clouds by one hour approximately. When we arrived at La Serena, we took a tour by the city before arrive the Hotel, next to the La Serena’s Lighthouse. We left our bags in the Hotel, we rest a couple of hours in the Hotel and at sunset we went to walk by Del Mar Avenue until near of Coquimbo and we went back to a Restaurant for dinner before come back to our room to sleep and the next day continue knowing the city.

This was my day that I will never forget, because was my first time flying by plane, in a hotel, and the first time I went to La Serena, all this with my girlfriend who she was also my guide.

Bohemian Rhapsody, my favorite song.

Hello everybody, today I’m going to talk you about the perfect song to me, which is “Bohemian Rhapsody” of British group Queen. This is a song of 1975 from album “Night at the Opera”, wrote by Freddie Mercury, vocalist of the group in those years.

This song is perfect to me because it have a nice combination of sounds, along the music. It is an unusual style of rock. Is sung in a mix of fantasy and reality lyrics, and it is complex to explain its content. I love this song because was the first song that I listened of group Queen, many years ago, I was in elementary school at least. From then until today, I started to listen the group Queen Songs and other ancient groups of Rock, like Pink Floyd. Queen and Pink Floyd are my favorite bands of all the times and I love most of their songs, but Bohemian Rhapsody ever has been my favorite to listen and sing.

In my personal opinion, there is another song that could be my favorite: Comfortably Numb of Pink Floyd, a psychedelic song of the album The Wall, a masterpiece of all the times, but I still prefer Bohemian Rhapsody like the better song of all the times to me.

A country that I would like to know

Someday, I would like travel around the world and know many places and cultures, but the first country I would love visit, study or work is Germany, I like read about German and Prussian History, visit Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, and other historical cities from this country.

I would like visit the Bavarian Alps, the Hurtgen Forest and the Brandenburg Gate, know the River Rhine and River Danube. I would visit it in the winter, the time of the snow and cold (I like cold weather).

I love study and read about the Germanic History, from Teutonic Order, Prussian Reign, German Empire, Nazi Germany and West Germany. I love de Prussian Culture, the cradle of Modern Administration, and his military culture.

Other countries that I would like to know are United States of America, Turkey (Istanbul), England, West Europe, Findland and Australia.

My Presentation

Hello, my name is Franco Saavedra, I'm 24 years old, and I study Public Administration at University of Chile. I am from Millahue, a small town near of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, in Sixth Region.

All my childhood I lived in Millahue, a rural town surrounded by hills and full of plots and farms. At 18 years old, I finished my high school and I came to Santiago de Chile to Study Biotechnology Engineering at National University Andres Bello, I studied this career by three years and a half until I left it. Last year, I started my current research, Public Administration, where I study at present.

I love listen rock music and pop music in my free time and watch movies on Netflix. I love read encyclopedias about History and Genetic Biology and spend time with my girlfriend. And when I go to Millahue, go out with friends to parties or walk on hills.

This is all about me, my interests and hobbies. I hope it's a great course. Cheers.

Best Holidays Ever!

Last winter, we were five days in Villarrica and Valdivia and we visited Villarrica Volcano, Pucon, Carburgua Lake, Caburgua’s Eyes, Forts Niebla and Corral, and when we back, we launched in Salts of Laja. Those were a special vacations because were special days with my family.

The first day we travelled from home to Villarrica, arriving to the evening, we rent a house to stay in there. The second day, we visited Villarrica Volcano, that day was rainy; we played in the snow all the day, and at night we dinner in Pucon and walked in the city. The third day, we travel to Lake Caburgua and to Caburgua’s Eyes, where we took many pictures of that place. Next day, we travelled to Valdivia, launched in the city and rent other house, we visited Forts Niebla and Corral, and arrive to the house exhausted so we sleep early because the other day we back to home. That day we stop in Salts of Laja to launch, and arrived to home at night.
