Am I green?

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk you about what I do about protect the environment. Protect the Environment it’s too important today because the dangerous levels which it has reached global pollution.

First, in my home we established a recycling politic, separating cartons, glass and plastic. This initiative was of my little brother five years ago when he started to study the environment at school. Our trash is sent to a recycling company. I continued with this when I came to Santiago, separating cartoons, glass, plastic and organic trash in different bags for each one.

Second, I see shorter showers, to take care from water, and this was taught by my family from I was a child, so is something instilled in my environment protect culture. I contribute with absolute use of public transport and no use of personal car. I don’t have anyway.

I’ve participated in programs and seminars of sustainable development, in initiatives of implement renewable energy, like wind, solar, geothermal energies. I’ve studied different forms to implement these alternatives energies in my home, unsuccessfully. I’ve educated to kids from my school how can stablish recycling in their homes.

These have been my attempts to take care from environment, sweet water reserves, and decrease the pollution levels. I hope you help too. Everything helps to Earth.
